Division VII: Federal Press Service

Division VII is responsible for the following matters:

• Providing information to the public at large about the work of the Federal Chancellor and the State Secretaries
• Publication and dispatch of information material
• Accreditation of, and assistance for, international journalists, media representatives and press councils
• Setting up press centres at international conferences in Austria
• Information measures of the Federal Government
• Citizens Service
• Europe helpdesk and service hotline of the Federal Chancellery
• The Federal Chancellery’s Internet portals
• Coordination of the Federal Ministries in common press and information matters
